The forty-first session of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) will be held from 7 to 9 October 2026, in person, in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, at the UTESA Dominican Convention and Culture Center.

The sessions will take place in the Conference Room Summa I y II del , located at Ave. Las Carreras, esq. Ave. Francia, Santiago de los Caballeros.  Centro de Convenciones y Cultura Dominicana UTESA.

The opening ceremony of the forty-first session of ECLAC will be held on Wednesday, 7 October, at 2.30 p.m. in the Summa I and II Conference Room.

Visas and entry requirements

To enter the Dominican Republic, foreign visitors must hold a valid passport and comply with the immigration requirements applicable to their nationality and the purpose of their visit. In most cases, nationals of many countries in the Americas, Europe and other regions may enter the Dominican Republic as tourists without a visa for short stays. However, nationals of certain countries are required to obtain a visa prior to travel.  In addition, the Dominican authorities require all travelers to complete the electronic Entry and Exit Form (E-Ticket) prior to travel and to present any supporting documentation that may be requested by the immigration authorities, such as a return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation or evidence of sufficient financial means. As entry requirements are subject to change, participants are advised to verify the latest information before travelling through the official channels of the Dominican immigration authorities and the relevant Dominican diplomatic or consular representations. Languages

The official language of the meeting will be Spanish. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English and French.
