Biography
Ph.D. in Economic History from the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), he is a full-time Professor of History and Economic and Social Development at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of the Republic of Uruguay. He was Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Pro-rector of Research at the University of the Republic and Director of the National Agency for Innovation and Research (ANII) de Uruguay.
