Minister José Arista Arbildo was appointed Minister of Economy and Finance on February 14, 2024. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a master's degree in Economics from the University of California (USA). He previously served as Minister of Economy and Finance in 2020 and was also the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation in 2018. Arista has extensive experience in managing public finances.
