Side events
Side events are meetings held during the sessions of the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean when the Conference is in recess. Generally speaking, they are outcomes of inter-agency coordination between agencies of the United Nations system, Governments and civil society organizations and they offer an opportunity to listen to experts in gender affairs and explore more extensively issues that complement the agenda of the Conference.
