She holds a degree in Anthropological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires and a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Utrecht. She was Undersecretary of Training of the Ministry of Defense of the Nation between 2009 and 2011, and advisor to the Ministry of Security of the Nation between 2012 and 2014. She was Minister of Security between December 2019 and September 2021.
