Marta Eugenia Esquivel Rodríguez, holds a law degree from the University of Costa Rica (UCR) and has worked in the General Directorate of Civil Service, the Attorney General's Office and the Costa Rican Institute of Pacific Ports, with particular experience on labor matters. Prior to her nomination as President of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund, she was Minister of Labour.
