Juan Carlos Moreno-Brid is professor at the Faculty of Economics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).  PhD from Cambridge University and BA in Mathematics from UNAM. From 2000 to April 2015, he was Deputy Chief and Research Coordinator at ECLAC Subregional Headquarters in Mexico. Previously, Associate Researcher at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University.
