36 session of ECLAC: Interview with Winston Dookeran (Trinidad and Tobago)

In this interview, Winston Dookeran, Governor of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), explains that there is a need to improve the flows of investment, technology and goods in the region in order to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, as well as to develop a digital platform to increase competitiveness in the private sector.
Mr. Dookeran pointed out that ECLAC has been at the forefront of the policy prescription for introducing equality in the development process.
This video was recorded at the thirty-sixth session of ECLAC, held in Mexico City from May 23-27, 2016. It takes part of a series of interviews with personalities attending that event, where the regional organization presented the document Horizons 2030: Equality at the center of sustainable development that proposes an analytical framework for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Latin America and the Caribbean.
