Biography

Gabriela Agosto is an Argentine political scientist and currently Executive Secretary of the National Council for the Coordination of Social Policies of Argentina.

She was formerly the General Coordinator of the National Register of Beneficiaries of Social Plans Project at the National Social Security Administration (ANSES), Chief of Staff at the Secretariat of Planning for the Prevention of Drug Addiction and Action against Drug Trafficking (SEDRONAR) and National Coordinator of the Youth Development Programme at the Ministry of Social Development.

She has also worked as a consultant and programme and project leader at public and private organizations in Argentina and internationally and has been a member of the Argentine Association of Social Policies and member of the UNESCO Chair of the Torcuato Di Tella Institute.

She holds a doctorate in Political Science and Sociology from Complutense University of Madrid, a master’s degree in Public Administration from the Ortega y Gasset University Institute, a diploma in Advanced Studies in Political Science and Administration from Complutense University of Madrid, a diploma in European Communities from Complutense University of Madrid and a degree in Sociology from the University of Buenos Aires.
